William Villalongo
William Villalongo (b. 1975) strategically uses imagery and material to collage a comprehensive representation of the Black identity. The artist’s kaleidoscopic conversation of signs and symbols explore themes of diaspora, Deep Time, freedom, and transformation. In 2024, Villalongo will have a solo museum exhibition originating at the Grinnell College Museum of Art, Grinnell, IA, traveling to the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Madison, WI; Museum of Art, University of Colorado, Boulder, CO; and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA. He is the recipient of the 2022 Rome Prize, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, and the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters & Sculptors Grant.
Allison Glenn
Allison Glenn is a curator and writer deeply invested in working closely with artists to develop ideas, artworks, and exhibitions that respond to and transform our understanding of the world. Glenn’s curatorial work focuses on the intersection of art and publics, through public art, biennials, special projects, and major new commissions by a wide range of contemporary artists. She is one of the curators of Counterpublic Triennial 2023, presenting new works by David Adjaye, Matthew Angelo Harrison, Mendi + Keith Obadike, and Maya Stovall.

Tongo Eisen-Martin
Originally from San Francisco, Tongo Eisen-Martin is a poet, movement worker, and educator. His latest curriculum on extrajudicial killing of Black people, We Charge Genocide Again, has been used as an educational and organizing tool throughout the country. His latest book Heaven Is All Goodbyes was published by the City Lights Pocket Poets series, was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize, and won a California Book Award and an American Book Award.
